The Victoria is a fairly simple model to build, but needs significant skill and patience to produce a precision result.
The model is known as “Victoria” and its layout is similar to that of Great Grandfathers model. The purpose of this blog is to describe the build of a steam engine from a kit of castings produced by Stuart models. He ran a small engineering business from a workshop in the cellar of his small farmhouse style home.
Greatgrandfather is a mystery figure, he died of food poisoning (along with many others) in 1912, my Grandfather was only 10 years old at the time. This is the model that sparked my interest in building small engines.
